What is Fairytalez.com?

We are Fairytalez – the Fairy Tale Authority. We love fairy tales and our mission is to share these wonderful stories with the rest of the world! Fairytalez.com is the world’s largest online collection of fairy tales, fables and folk tales. Discover more than 2,300 classic fairy tales plus user tales, new stories written by our very own ‘Fairy Tellers’.

What can I do on Fairytalez.com?

  • Read fairy tales, folk tales and fables from all over the world, plus user tales written by our very own ‘Fairy Tellers’
  • Join our newsletter and get a weekly fairy tale
  • Become a member of our ‘Fairy Teller’ network: submit your own user tales, comment on other people´s stories, and get feedback on your own stories.
  • Join our writing competitions and win great prizes.
  • Read our blog, and dive into the magical world of fairy tales trivia

How can I become a ‘Fairy Teller’ and submit my own user tales?

  1. Register: First, create your free account on Fairytalez.com. Don’t forget to customize it with images, website links and more. There are no fees associated with our website.
  2. Upload: Upload your story, and place it under an appropriate category.

How can I enter the writing competitions?

  1. Register: First, create your free account on Fairytalez.com. Don’t forget to customize it with images, website links and more. There are no fees associated with our website.
  2. Upload: Upload your story to the self-publishing platform, and place it under an appropriate category.
  3. Submit: Submit your story once the competition is live. The stories must be a minimum of 300 words and maximum of 5000 words.
  4. Share: Share your fairy tale link on social media with your friends and family. You need at least 5 likes in able to qualify for the writing competitions.

What type of stories are not allowed to be published/submitted?

  • Non-stories (lists, polls, previews, challenges, author notes etc.)
  • Adult content (sex, self-harm, graphic violence)
  • Discriminatory & Offensive Speech
  • Stories in intelligible language or in languages other than English
  • Stories that cannot be considered a fairy tale, folk tale, fable, or folklore
  • Any content plagiarized from an author or existing work
