Esther Singleton

Born in 1865, author Esther Singleton was a journalist and published several books. While most of her books were nonfiction volumes, covering such topics as Shakespeare and gardens, she also published two collections of stories for children. The Goldenrod Fairy Book and the Wildflower Fairy Book shared stories from around the world. She passed away in 1930.
