William Henry Frost
William Henry Frost was born in 1863 in North Providence, Rhode Island, and was a reporter for the New York Tribune, beginning in 1887. In 1889, he was the reporter of “dramatic news,” and received his A.M. from Brown University the same year. Frost authored four books of stories for children, including The Wagner Story Book, The Knights of the Round Table, and Fairies and Folk of Ireland. According to an obituary, he died in New York City at the age of 39, in 1902.
