Once upon a time, there lived a handsome prince who fell in love with a princess. Their first glimpse began during a dance at a big folk party. After the dance, the prince spoke his love into the princess’s heart.
“You are really beautiful like an angel of heaven. I love you, I want to call you, ‘darling’,” the prince praised the princess.
“Thank you, you are handsome like sunshine. I love you too, I am willing for you to call me ‘darling’, and you too,” the princess praised back to the prince.

The king and queen of the two kingdoms approved their children’s relationship as true love.
“You are meant to be together,” said the king.
“The future fiancées of two kingdoms,” said another king.
“I’m glad to see you have a beautiful true love,” said the queen happily

Day after day, month after month, their relationship grew stronger. One day, the king and queen received an invitation to a grand feast from a distant land. The prime minister of a distant kingdom came to the palace to happily hand out invitations to a grand feast to the king and queen. They thanked the prime minister for distributing the invitations.
“Thank you, Madam for the invitation,” the queen thanked the prime minister. Then, the prime minister gave a friendly reply to the queen, “You’re welcome, Your Majesty. I hope you can attend.”

While in another neighbouring kingdom, the king and queen also received an invitation to a big party. However, the princess fell so ill that her body turned pale, so she had to rest a lot. The prince came to visit his true love who was sick when his parents met with the prime minister. The prince gave a prayer for his princess, while he touched the princess’ pale hand, then give a kiss on her hand with tears. But alas, in the evening, he received sad news from the neighbouring kingdom that the princess had just passed away. He suddenly lost his true love that night, sobbed after hearing the news. At the same time, the king and queen immediately approached and embraced their crying son and calmed him down with sing a beautiful songs.

The next day, mourners from various regions came to the palace which became the funeral home. Including the king, queen, and her son. They gathered to line up neatly to welcome and give their last greetings to the body of the princess who died last night. The prince could not hold back his tears when he saw people carrying the body of his lover. After paying their last respects to the princess’s body, the parents placed tiaras on their deceased daughter’s head to follow the funeral tradition in which crowns and tiaras are only worn for the deceased.

Just before the funeral ceremony, the king held and patted his son’s shoulder who was crying because he was not feeling well. When the princess’s body was about to be buried, the queen covered the robe on her son’s clothes so that her son’s crying face would not be seen.
