John Theophilus Naaké
John Theophilus Naaké was a folklorist and editor from The British who authored Slavonic Fairy Tales: From the Russian, Polish, Serbian, and Bohemian. This Slavic fairy tale collection was published in 1874 and translated by the author from works by K. W. Wojcicki and W. S. Karajich, and other notable Slavic authors. Slavonic Fairy Tales marked the first time many of these tales appeared in English.
